A trusted digital platform for the verification of invoices, e-way bills, and logistics-related documents. This policy outlines how ScrapDMS collects, verifies, and securely stores the information shared by its users.

By accessing or using our platform, you acknowledge and consent to the collection, processing, and verification of your data in accordance with the terms described in this policy.

1. Purpose

ScrapDMS provides digital tools to verify invoices, e-way bills, vehicle movement, and related trade documents through authorized APIs. To deliver these services, we require access to certain transaction details where your organization is a buyer, seller, or transporter.

2. Authorization to Verify on Behalf of Your Organization

By accepting this policy, you expressly authorize ScrapDMS to:

• Access and use authorized government and third-party APIs — including but not limited to NIC, GSTN, ULIP, VAHAN, FASTag, or other approved systems — to verify the authenticity of invoices, e-way bills, and vehicle movement records on behalf of your organization or industry.
• Perform verification using invoices, e-way bills, and other relevant documents uploaded to the ScrapDMS platform.
• Retrieve, process, and validate such data solely for purposes of verification, compliance, and audit reporting.

This authorization enables ScrapDMS to perform real-time verification as your authorized service provider, without becoming a party to any underlying commercial transaction.

3. Data Ownership & Privacy

• You retain full ownership of all invoices, e-way bills, and related data shared on the ScrapDMS platform.
• ScrapDMS functions solely as a data processor and document verification facilitator.
• ScrapDMS does not sell, disclose, or share your data with any third party, except when required by law, regulation, or competent authority.
• All data is securely stored on Indian cloud infrastructure compliant with MeitY, ISO 27001, and other applicable data protection and security standards.

4. Your Declaration

By uploading or sharing documents, you confirm that:

• You are duly authorized by your organization or business to share and verify these documents.
• You grant ScrapDMS permission to access government-approved verification systems or third-party APIs to validate the authenticity of the documents and to securely store them on cloud servers.
• You consent to ScrapDMS retaining digital records of the verification process for compliance, audit, and regulatory purposes.

5. Data Retention

• Data may be retained for the duration of your account activity or for the legally required record-keeping period.
• You may request data deletion or anonymization by contacting contact@scrapdms.com.

6. Withdrawal of Consent

You may withdraw your consent at any time. However, doing so may restrict ScrapDMS’s ability to verify your invoices or e-way bills on your behalf.

7. Disclaimer & Liability

ScrapDMS relies on official and third-party data sources for verification. We are not responsible for inaccuracies, downtime, or changes in data made by external systems.

8. Governing Law

This Policy is governed by the laws of India, and any dispute will be subject to the jurisdiction of Gurgaon, Haryana.
